Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Tuna Patties, perfect for busy weeknights and family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the drained tuna, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Mix until well combined, ensuring all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Shape the mixture into patties, about the size of your palm.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. You want just enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan.
  5. Fry the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
  7. Serve warm, maybe with a sprinkle of fresh herbs or your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

These patties are versatile and can be customized with different flavors. Make-ahead mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours before frying.
