Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 package Stove Top Stuffing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and mixed vegetables if using in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in the Stove Top Stuffing mix and garlic powder until everything is well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead advice: Prepare the casserole in advance and store it in the fridge overnight. Just bake it straight from the fridge the next day—add an extra 10 minutes to the baking time.
