Description

Indulge in tender steaks topped with a rich and creamy bourbon garlic sauce, creating a perfect weeknight dinner that feels elegant and comforting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup broth (instead of bourbon)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and add the steaks. Sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  3. Remove the steaks and let them rest while preparing the sauce.
  4. Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Pour in the broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes to reduce.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  7. Top the steaks with the sauce and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Allow the steak to rest after cooking to retain juices. Store leftover sauce in the fridge for up to three days.
