Ingredients

- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Cooking oil or butter for frying
Instructions
- Mix the sourdough discard, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- Whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of oil or butter.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip the pancake. Cook until golden brown, around 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Serve warm with toppings of your choice.
