- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, diced
- ½ cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter and cream cheese together until creamy and smooth.
- Add granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing until fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then add this mixture to the wet ingredients and mix just until combined.
- Fold in the diced strawberries and white chocolate chips if desired.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, placing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy warm!
