Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, diced
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the softened butter and cream cheese together until creamy and smooth.
  3. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing until fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then add this mixture to the wet ingredients and mix just until combined.
  6. Fold in the diced strawberries and white chocolate chips if desired.
  7. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, placing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy warm!
