Description

Delightful S’mores Cookie Bars combine classic flavors of graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows into an easy-to-make treat perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Mini marshmallows
  • To taste: Extra chocolate chips and marshmallows for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Cream together the softened unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the two large eggs, one at a time, along with the vanilla extract, until fully combined.
  4. Incorporate the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Stir in the graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips, and mini marshmallows gently, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Spread the mixture into the prepared baking pan, smoothing it evenly. Sprinkle additional chocolate chips and marshmallows on top. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  7. Cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

For cleaner cuts, use a sharp knife dipped in warm water before slicing. These bars can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container.
