Description

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs beef short ribs
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup grape juice
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like thyme or rosemary)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season the beef short ribs with salt and pepper on all sides.
  3. Sear the ribs over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
  4. Remove the ribs and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in the same pan until translucent.
  5. Stir in the beef broth, grape juice, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce; bring to a simmer.
  6. Place the ribs in a roasting pan and pour the sauce over them.
  7. Cover with foil and roast for 3-4 hours until tender.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
