Description

A comforting Philly Cheesesteak recipe featuring sizzling ribeye steak, caramelized onions, and gooey provolone cheese, wrapped in a buttered submarine roll.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ribeye steak
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Garlic butter
  • 4 Submarine rolls
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add garlic butter.
  2. Sauté sliced onions until golden-brown.
  3. Season ribeye steak slices with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  4. Cook until steak is tender and juicy.
  5. Place provolone cheese on top of the steak and allow it to melt.
  6. Scoop the mixture into garlic buttered rolls, and serve hot.

Notes

Slice the steak against the grain for tenderness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
