Description

A comforting twist on a classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring the aromatic flavors of pesto and a melty blend of cheeses.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of your favorite bread
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons of pesto
  • Butter, for grilling

Instructions

  1. Spread pesto generously on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place a slice of cheese on the unspread side of one slice of bread.
  3. Top with the other slice of bread, making sure the pesto side is facing up.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt a pat of butter.
  5. Grill the sandwich for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  6. Slice the sandwich in half and serve hot.
