Description

A delightful and easy no-bake peanut butter fudge that is perfect for cozy gatherings and nostalgic moments.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 2 1/2 cups confectioners (powdered) sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Sift the confectioners (powdered) sugar into a bowl and set it aside.
  2. Grease an 8 x 8 pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  3. In a medium-sized saucepan set to medium heat, melt the butter.
  4. Once the butter is melted, add the brown sugar, salt, and milk. Stir frequently.
  5. Keep stirring until you start to see bubbles. When you notice them, start a 2-minute timer.
  6. Continue boiling and stirring for exactly 2 minutes.
  7. Remove the saucepan from the heat immediately.
  8. Stir in the creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  9. Beat the mixture with a hand mixer until completely blended and creamy.
  10. Carefully add in the sifted powdered sugar, mixing until thoroughly combined. Don’t forget to scrape down the sides of the bowl!
  11. Pour the mixture into your prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  12. Cover and let it cool at room temperature until it firms up, about 1-2 hours.
  13. Once set, cut into 1-inch squares and enjoy!

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute with non-dairy butter and milk alternative. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
