- 1 pound sausage
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat; add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, then let it simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti, followed by half of the ricotta cheese, half of the sausage mixture, and half of the mozzarella.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Top with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
- Let it cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve!
Notes
This dish can be assembled a day in advance and stored in the fridge before baking for convenience.
