Description

A warm, gooey grilled cheese sandwich with a twist, featuring hot honey, tart apples, and crispy turkey bacon.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 2 slices of sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices of cooked turkey bacon
  • 1 small apple, thinly sliced
  • 12 tablespoons hot honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of a slice of sourdough bread.
  3. Layer one slice of cheddar cheese on the unbuttered side, followed by turkey bacon and sliced apples. Drizzle hot honey on top.
  4. Top with another slice of sourdough, buttered side facing out.
  5. Cook in the skillet until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes
