Description

Quick and easy Greek yogurt bagels that are delicious and family-friendly, ready in under an hour.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes until it’s smooth and pliable.
  4. Divide the dough into four equal pieces and shape each piece into a bagel.
  5. Brush the bagels with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or seasoning if desired.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
  7. Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving, then enjoy warm and fresh!

Notes

You can prepare the dough the night before and store it in the fridge; just bake them fresh in the morning.
