Description

These homemade Italian meatballs capture the essence of family warmth with their juicy flavor and comforting marinara sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through and beautifully browned.
  5. Serve the meatballs with marinara sauce over spaghetti or nestled in a sandwich.
