Description

A cozy and quick dish of tender steak bites and vibrant zucchini enveloped in rich garlic butter, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or tenderloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until bubbling and fragrant.
  2. Add the steak bites, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook until browned to your desired doneness, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Remove the steak from the skillet to rest while preparing the zucchini.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant and golden.
  5. Toss in the zucchini slices and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Return the cooked steak to the skillet, gently tossing to combine and heat through for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Try adding bell peppers or mushrooms for a hearty twist, or a pinch of red pepper flakes for some spice!
