- 1 lb steak (sirloin or tenderloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until bubbling and fragrant.
- Add the steak bites, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook until browned to your desired doneness, about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove the steak from the skillet to rest while preparing the zucchini.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant and golden.
- Toss in the zucchini slices and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the cooked steak to the skillet, gently tossing to combine and heat through for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Try adding bell peppers or mushrooms for a hearty twist, or a pinch of red pepper flakes for some spice!
