Description

Tender and flavorful leeks cooked in herb butter and beef broth, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • Fondant leeks (or regular leeks)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons herb butter
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim and clean the leeks, cutting them in half lengthwise.
  3. Add the herb butter to a skillet over medium heat, letting it melt and fill the air with aroma.
  4. Place the leeks cut-side down and sear for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in beef broth until it partially covers the leeks.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until tender.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave.
