Description

Delicious and quick sliders made with ham, cheese, and sweet Hawaiian rolls, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 12 soft Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 slices of ham
  • 12 slices of cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  4. Layer the ham and cheese evenly on the bottom halves of the rolls.
  5. Cover the cheesy layers with the top halves of the rolls.
  6. Brush the buttery mixture generously over the top of the rolls.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Make-ahead options are available; assemble sliders a day in advance. For tasty variations, try BBQ sauce, veggies, or different cheeses.
