Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked ham, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Sauté the chopped onion, diced carrots, and celery over medium heat until they’re tender and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the diced ham to the pot and cook for another couple of minutes.
  3. Stir in the white beans, chicken broth, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20-30 minutes.
