Description

A comforting, effortless crockpot dish featuring tender chicken coated in sweet and savory teriyaki sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (optional)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot, spreading them out evenly for even cooking.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, garlic, and ginger. Pour this aromatic blend over the chicken.
  3. If you’re feeling creative, add the sliced bell peppers for a splash of color and sweetness in the dish.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked and tender, shred it right in the crockpot and mix it with the savory sauce.
  6. Serve over a bed of fluffy rice or delicious noodles, and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For a zesty twist, toss in pineapple chunks during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Add sriracha for a spicy kick.
