Description

Sizzling steaks are smothered in a rich and creamy garlic sauce, perfect for a cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 steaks (ribeye or sirloin)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper, ensuring they are well-coated for maximum flavor.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Sear the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Once done, remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds – be careful not to burn it!
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and continue cooking until the sauce thickens.
  7. Return the steaks to the skillet, spoon the sauce over them, and heat through for another minute.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For variations, consider adding sautéed mushrooms, crushed red pepper flakes, fresh herbs, or lemon zest.
