Description

Delicious and creamy cranberry bliss bars inspired by the Starbucks favorite, perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon table salt
  • 12 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1½ cups packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
  • ¾ cup dried cranberries
  • 1â…“ cups white chocolate (chopped or chips)
  • 1â…” cups white chocolate (melted)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1½ cups confectioners’ sugar (sifted)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest (for frosting)
  • ½ cup dried cranberries (for topping)
  • â…” cup white chocolate (melted, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, melt the butter and mix it with the brown sugar until fully incorporated. Add the eggs, vanilla, and orange zest, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing gently to avoid overmixing. Fold in the cranberries and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly, and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. While your bars are baking, prepare the frosting. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add in the confectioners’ sugar, vanilla, orange juice, and orange zest, blending until fluffy.
  7. Once the cranberry bars have cooled completely, spread the cream cheese frosting over the top. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to let the frosting set.
  8. Before serving, top your bars with chopped dried cranberries and drizzle with melted white chocolate. Allow to set before slicing into squares.

Notes
