Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish with a bit of butter or cooking spray.
- Combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Stir until crumbly, then press half into the bottom of the baking dish to form your crust.
- Beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until smooth and creamy. Spread the mixture over the crust.
- Scatter the fresh blueberries on top of the cream cheese layer. Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the blueberries.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until set and golden brown. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
For a zesty twist, add lemon zest to the cream cheese mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to five days.
