Description

A cozy and comforting breakfast casserole with layers of cheese, hashbrowns, and savory flavors, perfect for brunch or family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups hashbrowns (thawed)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar is preferable)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the hashbrowns, shredded cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  4. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
