- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 1/2 cup walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
- Combine the mashed bananas with honey and melted butter, stirring until well blended.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
- Gently mix in the flour and cinnamon (if using).
- Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if desired.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Store leftovers at room temperature for a couple of days in an airtight container or freeze for up to two months.
