A comforting and easy chicken casserole layered with Doritos, creamy soup, and cheese, perfect for family dinners.

- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 can (10 oz) Rotel tomatoes
- 2 cups Doritos, crushed
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the shredded chicken, Rotel tomatoes, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Layer half of the crushed Doritos in the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Spread the creamy chicken mixture over the Doritos.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Finish by adding the remaining crushed Doritos on top of the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
This casserole can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge. For a different flavor, try cream of mushroom soup instead of chicken.
