Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated and resemble wet sand. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create a firm, even crust. Refrigerate while you prepare the filling.
- Make the cheesecake filling: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well until fully combined.
- Whip the cream: In a separate bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold this whipped cream into the cheesecake mixture until fully integrated.
- Add Snickers and caramel: Fold in the chopped Snickers bars and 1/4 cup of caramel sauce into the cheesecake mixture until nicely combined.
- Pour and chill: Pour the creamy filling over the prepared crust, smoothing the top with a spatula. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 240-360 minutes, or preferably overnight.
- Serve up the delight: Once chilled, remove the sides of the springform pan. Drizzle additional caramel sauce and, if desired, chocolate sauce over the top before slicing into squares.
