Description

A comforting and flavorful chicken dish marinated in bourbon, soy sauce, and brown sugar, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup broth (as a non-alcohol substitute for bourbon)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  3. Preheat your Blackstone griddle on medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess drip off.
  5. Place the chicken on the griddle and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  6. Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve garnished with green onions.

Notes

For added flavor, try marinating overnight. Substitute soy sauce for tamari or coconut aminos for a gluten-free option.
