A comforting and flavorful chicken dish marinated in bourbon, soy sauce, and brown sugar, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup broth (as a non-alcohol substitute for bourbon)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Whisk together the broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat your Blackstone griddle on medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess drip off.
- Place the chicken on the griddle and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve garnished with green onions.
Notes
For added flavor, try marinating overnight. Substitute soy sauce for tamari or coconut aminos for a gluten-free option.
