Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and fluffy.
- Gradually mix in the sugar, beating until well combined.
- Add in the vanilla extract and egg, mixing until smooth.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Optional: sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
