Description

A delightful blend of creamy cheese and spicy jalapeños wrapped in crispy eggrolls, perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup jalapeños, diced (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package eggroll wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine cream cheese, bacon, jalapeños, and cheddar in a mixing bowl.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Take an eggroll wrapper and place about 2 tablespoons of filling in the center.
  4. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling, then roll tightly and seal the edge with water.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the eggrolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Remove them from the oil and let them drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Make a double batch and freeze some eggrolls for a quick snack! Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes for a healthier option.
