- 2 lbs chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Combine the chopped onion, garlic, ginger, tomato puree, garam masala, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker.
- Add the chicken thighs to the mixture and ensure they’re well-coated in the sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and butter about 30 minutes before serving.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or spices to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro, and enjoy with rice or naan.
