Description

A creamy, flavorful dish made with tender chicken thighs, simmered in a rich buttery sauce, perfect for cozy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the chopped onion, garlic, ginger, tomato puree, garam masala, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the mixture and ensure they’re well-coated in the sauce.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and butter about 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or spices to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro, and enjoy with rice or naan.

Notes
