- 2 large onions, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by seasoning the beef brisket generously with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Place the sliced onions and minced garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Gently lay the brisket on top of the onions and garlic.
- Mix together the beef broth, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce, then pour it over the brisket.
- Cover your slow cooker and set it to low for 480-600 minutes.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the brisket, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice or shred as desired.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Slice the brisket against the grain for the most tender pieces. Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container.
