Description

Delicious chicken wings glazed in a sweet and spicy pineapple marinade, perfect for gatherings and weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 jalapeños, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the pineapple juice, brown sugar, chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, soy sauce, and black pepper. Whisk until the brown sugar dissolves.
  4. Pour the marinade over the chicken wings and toss to coat. Cover and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Grease the rack with olive oil.
  6. Remove the wings from the marinade and place them in a single layer on the wire rack.
  7. Reserve the marinade for later use.
  8. Bake the wings for 25-30 minutes, brushing with reserved marinade halfway through.
  9. Switch to broil for the last 3-5 minutes for extra crispiness.
  10. Let the wings rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Marinate wings overnight for maximum flavor; store leftovers for up to 3 days.
