Description

Delightful layers of creamy banana pudding, ripe bananas, and crunchy Nilla Wafers make these cups a nostalgic treat for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (3.4 ounces) package instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 large bananas (peeled and sliced)
  • 36 Nilla Wafer cookies

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the cold milk and instant vanilla pudding until thickened. Cover and refrigerate.
  2. Beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract with an electric mixer on medium speed until stiff peaks form.
  3. Set 6 plastic 9-ounce punch cups on the counter or a cookie sheet.
  4. Place banana slices along the bottom of each cup so they are visible.
  5. Scoop 1/4 cup of vanilla pudding into the bottom of each cup to cover the banana slices.
  6. Place 4-5 Nilla Wafers on top of the pudding layer, facing outwards.
  7. Scoop 1/4 cup of whipped cream into each cup, smoothing it out.
  8. Divide the remaining vanilla pudding evenly into each cup, topping with a dollop of whipped cream.
  9. Finish with a Nilla Wafer for garnish; add a slice of banana if serving immediately.

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare the pudding and whipped cream a day in advance. Assemble just before serving for optimum freshness. You can replace heavy cream with low-fat milk or whipped topping for a lighter version.
