Ingredients

- 1 cup ground beef or lamb
- ½ onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, grated
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mini pita or flatbreads
- ½ cup plain yogurt
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped onion, grated tomato, parsley, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spoon the meat mixture onto your mini pita or flatbreads, spreading it evenly.
- Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden and the meat is cooked through.
- While baking, mix the yogurt, minced garlic, and lemon juice to make the yogurt drizzle.
- Once the mini lahmacun bites are ready, drizzle the yogurt mixture over the top and serve immediately.
Notes
Make-ahead: The meat mixture can be prepared a day in advance. Leftover unbaked bites can be frozen and cooked directly from frozen.
