Description

A quick and easy lemon garlic cream sauce that elevates any dish with a light and zesty flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, followed by the lemon juice and zest. Stir gently.
  4. Cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. If desired, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
  7. Serve over pasta or as a base for other dishes, garnished with parsley.

Notes

This sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently before serving.
