A delightful tropical fruit salad mixed with creamy sour cream and orange gelatin, perfect for summer gatherings.

- 1 (30 oz) can fruit cocktail in juice
- 1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks in juice
- 1 (8 oz) can mandarin orange slices
- 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
- 1 (24 oz) container of sour cream
- 1 box orange flavored gelatin
Instructions
- Start by pouring all the fruit into a colander placed over the sink, allowing the juices to drain for about four hours.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and the orange jello, stirring until smooth.
- Add the drained fruit and marshmallows, gently folding until coated.
- Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least one hour, preferably overnight.
- Just before serving, give it a gentle stir and serve chilled.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider using Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
