Description

A delicious and customizable homemade frozen yogurt recipe that brings back sweet memories of summer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup (for a vegan option)
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen fruits (such as strawberries, blueberries, or bananas)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional mix-ins: chocolate chips, nuts, or granola for a crunch

Instructions

  1. Combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add your choice of fresh or frozen fruits and blend again until fully combined.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness if needed.
  4. Pour the yogurt mixture into an airtight container, smoothing out the top with a spatula.
  5. Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap and freeze for at least 240 minutes, or until firm.
  6. Let sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes before serving. Scoop and enjoy!

Notes

Make ahead for best results; use warm water for smooth scoops.
