Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the sifted all-purpose flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls, placing on a lined baking sheet.
- Before baking, sprinkle each cookie with flaky sea salt.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden and centers are tender.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
