- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 cup vegetable broth
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using). Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the tomato sauce and vegetable broth.
- Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Let it simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
