A comforting twist on a classic burger featuring juicy beef patties nestled between flaky croissants.
Ingredients

- 1 pound of ground beef
- 2 large buttery croissants, sliced in half
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
- 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
- Fresh lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Optional: pickles, avocado, or any favorite toppings
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, gently shape the ground beef into 4 equal-sized patties. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place patties on the skillet and smash them down with a spatula. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- During the last minute of cooking, sprinkle cheese on top and cover to let it melt.
- Toast the croissant halves on the skillet until golden.
- Assemble by spreading Dijon mustard on the bottom half, adding the patty, lettuce, tomato, and toppings. Top with the other half of the croissant and serve.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet for best results.
