Description

A hearty and creamy soup perfect for chilly evenings, filled with chicken, Parmesan cheese, and rich flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the chicken broth, heavy cream, marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360-420 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir to combine.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of chicken broth to loosen it up.
