- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the chicken broth, heavy cream, marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-420 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and stir to combine.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of chicken broth to loosen it up.
