Description

A comforting weeknight dinner featuring crispy chicken breast topped with savory ham and melty Swiss cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • 4 Ham slices
  • 4 Swiss cheese slices
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/4 cup Honey mustard sauce
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Cooking oil (for frying or baking)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat oil in a large pan for frying.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and roll in breadcrumbs.
  4. Cook the breaded chicken in the oven or pan for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Top each chicken breast with ham and Swiss cheese, then return to the oven or cover the pan until the cheese melts.
  6. Drizzle with honey mustard sauce before serving.
