Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional for brightness)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the green beans, trim the ends, and pat dry.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine green beans, olive oil, garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat.
  4. Spread the beans in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  6. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the warm beans and toss gently.
  7. Drizzle with lemon juice if desired and garnish with parsley before serving.
