Description

A warm and comforting bread made with cottage cheese, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, eggs, and sugar (if using).
  3. In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. Slice and serve at room temperature or warm it up for a lovely treat.

Notes

This bread can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Also, consider using whole wheat flour or gluten-free flour as needed.
