Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, white sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just incorporated.
- Roll the dough into small balls, then roll each ball in granulated sugar to coat.
- Place the sugar-coated dough balls on ungreased baking pans, flattening them slightly.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden and fragrant.
- Allow the cookies to cool on wire racks before enjoying.
