Description

A cozy comfort food delight featuring crispy turkey bacon, creamy cheddar, and tender turkey slices on golden-brown sourdough.


Ingredients

  • Sourdough bread
  • Turkey slices
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Turkey bacon
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. Spread a generous layer of butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  4. On the unbuttered side, layer on the turkey slices, crispy turkey bacon, and a hearty handful of cheddar cheese.
  5. Top with another slice of sourdough, buttered side up, and place in the skillet.
  6. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip carefully and cook until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the skillet, cut in half, and serve hot.
