- 1/2 cup broth, juice, or water
Instructions
- Pat the turkey breast dry using paper towels.
- Lightly spray or brush the turkey with olive oil.
- Generously rub salt, pepper, and your preferred herbs and spices over the surface of the turkey.
- Place the turkey skin-side up into your Crock Pot and pour in ½ cup of broth, juice, or water.
- Cover the pot and set it to cook on LOW for 4 hours.
- Check the internal temperature—it should be around 140°F.
- If it’s not there yet, continue cooking for another 1–2 hours, until the internal temperature reaches a safe 165°F.
- Remove the turkey from the slow cooker and tent it with foil. Allow it to rest for about 15 minutes before slicing.
- If it’s boneless, be sure to remove the netting.
Notes
Make ahead by seasoning the turkey the night before. Slice against the grain for tender bites.
