- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 unit lemon, juiced and zested
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions. Make sure to salt the water to infuse flavor into your pasta.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet, stirring for about a minute until fragrant.
- Toss in the cubed chicken breast, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook until the chicken is golden brown, approximately 6-8 minutes.
- When the chicken is perfectly cooked, stir in the broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Squeeze the fresh lemon juice over the skillet and add the lemon zest.
- Finally, gently toss in the cooked bowtie pasta and mix until the pasta is coated.
- Serve warm, topped with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
For a cheesier variant, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving. This dish can also be made ahead of time and frozen for later enjoyment.
