- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy.
- In another bowl, mix flour and salt. Gradually add the yeast mixture and oil, knead until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for about an hour.
- In a pan, cook ground beef with garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar until cooked through. Stir in green onions.
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide into small balls. Roll out each ball into a circle.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each circle. Gather the edges and pinch to seal.
- Steam the buns in a steamer for about 15-20 minutes until fluffy.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
