Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy.
  2. In another bowl, mix flour and salt. Gradually add the yeast mixture and oil, knead until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for about an hour.
  3. In a pan, cook ground beef with garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar until cooked through. Stir in green onions.
  4. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide into small balls. Roll out each ball into a circle.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each circle. Gather the edges and pinch to seal.
  6. Steam the buns in a steamer for about 15-20 minutes until fluffy.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
